Saturday Sample 2!

Ahh, its been a while, but hopefully this double Sample Saturday(Friday) will make up for it.

Firstly Jay-Z's Big Pimpin'

Intro sounds a little like Abdel Halim Hafez's Khosara.

And number 2, everyone's third favourite ed bangers, Justeeeece with New Jack.

Rips the vocals from funk classic "You Make Me Wanna Wiggle" by The Brothers Johnson.

Love 2.

Everyones favourite french duo are back with a new album "Love 2", nay not Daft Punk but Kings (with a capital K) of ambient-electronica; AIR. They have released a promo mix for the album, which sounds even lighter and happier than the Air of old, if thats possible. A new track "Sing, Sang, Sung" was debuted on their website last week.

I've been less impressed with their recent releases; Pocket Symphony and Late Night Tales didn't live up to expectations, but if this mix is any indication, we might have another moon safari on our hands. Well we can always hope.

Love 2 Promo Mix - Download [mp3]

The album is out on the 30th September 09.
And incase its shit, we've always got this:
